Local Axe aims to expand the reach of wood banks through a distributed volunteer network. We collect, process, and distribute free firewood to families in need.
Volunteer With Us

Collect
Collect wood from your own property or from local tree services. We recommend requesting from ChipDrop.
Chop
Process the wood into manageable pieces and stack it to dry. This is the step that'll heat you too.
